so twitch is the world's largest livestreaming platform and owned by Amazonand while originally it was almostentirely for gaming it's now expanded toall sorts of shows and IRL content withtop streamers averaging tens ofthousands of viewers and special eventsand tournaments getting into thehundreds of thousands with so muchcontent there's pretty much somethingfor everyone whether you're a gamer amusician a hobbyist or just a member oftwitch staff unlike TV streaming appealsprimarily to a teenage and young adultaudience and having done some cheeringmyself I've realized it's basically aplace where high school kids go to learnsocial skills from adults who act likehigh school kids with this in mind ifyou're a streamer it can be hard to keepeveryone well behaved in the chat so youhave to set some rules for everyone tofollow personally I think it's importantto listen to the interests of the twitchchamp so just like in a democracythere's really only one good way to makerules do candirectly message and donate to thestreamer in real time getting a reactionand making them feel more connected andwhile most people thinkbro getting validation that way is kindof sad just remember it's the same thingyour grandparents do for you so makesure you have some empathy so I can tellyou from the perspective of a streamerby far both the best and worst part ofstreaming is the chat because
