so despite no major Apple launch isexpected in March we have eight piecesof major Apple news to share with youguys some of which do get me quiteexcited for what is to come number oneOLED iPads so for a long time now we'vehad plenty of rumors that Apple will beupdating the displays on the iPad Prosto OLED well now we finally have somemore concrete information Rossi youngstated in late December that apple isworking on a new 11.1 inch iPad Pro andthe new 13.3 inch iPad which will bothfeature OLED displays and would bereleased in the first quarter of 2024and then business Korea has just statedin late February 2023 that Apple has nowordered OLED panels from both LG andSamsung which will be included in thenext generation iPad Pro which will belaunched in early 2024 matching whatRoss young has stayed in in his reportand even though business Korea doesn'treally State what sort of OLED displaysApple will be using I do believe thatthis is very likely going to be thatdual stacked OLED panel that we've seenrumored for such a long time now as thatOLED pan will be able to actually keepand even sustain the brightness levelsthat we have on the mini LED version ofthe 12.9 inch iPad Pro which as youprobably know can go up to 1600 nits allthe displays on tablets usually max outat about 400 right now so that's thegood news the bad news is that the iPadPros will be even more expensive now theAlec reports that the cost of the Olaypanels would now be 270 dollars for the11 inch and 350 dollars for the 13 inchand that's a normal Samsung OLED displayright now 10 inches in size only cost ahundred dollars to 150 which means thatApple's version could be as high asthree times the cost of an Ole displayright now the Alec also states thatApple will be passing some of thematerial costs to us the consumers andthat's this will be reflected insignificantly higher retail prices sohow high will these prices actually bewell according to some price estimatesthe 11 inch will be fifteen hundreddollars and the 13 inch will be 1800this is absolutely insane guys becausebecause right now we can buy an 11 inchfor 800 which in my opinion is alreadysignificantly overpriced compared toother tablets on the market but withthese new prices it will be moreexpensive than a 13-inch MacBook Pro andthat would be just the base seal of aninch model even without a keyboard andan apple pencil attached that's justcrazy number two a new homepod and I'mnot talking about a homebot 2 that justcame out or even homebot 3. I'm talkingabout a new homepod model that would sitalongside the homepod mini and theregular homepod Michiko has recentlyreported to the medium that Apple'sworking on a new homepod that would havea seven inch display and launch in 2024.this was also reported by Mark Germanback in 2021 that Apple was working on anew home pod that would have cameras aswell as a screen and that you would beable to use it for face timing and Iwould personally love to see thisApple's version of Google's Nest homewhich fun fact also comes with the7-inch display it also has speakers andit is very capable in terms of itsfunctionality the the only problem isthat the nest Hub currently sells for 73pounds in the UK that's less than thehomepod mini so there's no way thatApple will be able to match the price ofthe Google home and I think that theywould have an even harder time matchingthe Google home when it comes to itsfunctionality so I still think that formost people the Google Nest home wouldstill be the best option price wise andeven functionality wise the only area inwhich I think the homepod pro orwhatever they're going to call it isgoing to exceed will be in terms of thesound quality speaking of the soundquality at number three we have applemusic classical so I don't know if youguys have heard about this but Apple'slaunching a new music app called Applemusic classical on March 28th and thisis a full app dedicated and madespecifically for classical music okay soI guess that sounds cool but why notsimply use the normal music app tolisten to classical music well to behonest you you can still do that theonly difference is that this app willhave some extra features for classicalmusic fans features such as an improvedsearch system built for classical musicthat allows you to search by composer bythe work by the conductor by catalognumber and so much more and interestingenough Apple's also using their new NewYork font in this app as opposed to thetraditional San Francisco Pro I don'tknow why they uh they did this but okayI think the best part is that instead ofyou seeing the lyrics like you see themon you know the usual music app you cannow see the description and a bit of astory behind how each song was created Ithink that's really really cool andthere's also an Android version comingvery soon it will be free for Applemusic subscribers unless you're on theaudio only plan so it won't work in thatcase you'll need an individual plan orhigher okay at number four we have someupdates on um this guy right here theiMac the current iMac was released backin 2021 two years ago and it still hasthe M1 chip because of that which isquite outdated at this point previousrumors were saying that Apple will beskipping the M2 Chip and going straightto the M3 with a new iMac which willresult in a much bigger performanceboost as you know compared to using bm2and that is true as according to MarkGerman's latest report there is a newiMac in advanced stage of development aniMac that will feature the same 24 inchdisplay as a current model and also thesame colors the only difference beingthe new M3 chip now personally I washoping to see at least some new colorsbut I guess it's simply cheaper this wayto use the exact same chassis and thenjust replace you know the motherboardwith an updated one mbm3 chip and Ithink the reason why they've decided todo this now new colors and no otherchanges is because it's not reallyselling that well you know this is alsothe reason why we haven't had an M2 Chipinside of this thing and unfortunatelythere are no updates on the larger sizeiMac either so I'm guessing that they'rejust trying to push that studio displaypaired with a Macbook or the Mac Studioinstead but I mean to be honest thiswill still be a very very good desktopcomputer especially with that M3 chipinside the CPU is still said to be an 8core processor according to 95 Mac butof course the clock speed will be higherthe big upgrade though will be in termsof the GPU which was quite lacking onthe M1 model we know that the M2 Chipgot you know 10 core GPU and the M3 chipcould bump this even more also don'tforget that the M3 chip is said to bemanufactured on a smaller threenanometer process which means that itwould generate less heat and apple couldtheoretically push the clock speeds evenhigher since you know this is a desktopcomputer so battery life won't be anissue all in all I think that as long asApple doesn't raise the price this willstill be an amazing actually the bestall-in-one desktop computer that you canbuy with an outstanding display greatcolor reproduction great accessories andan awesome level of performance for itsprice speaking of performance at numberfive we have a the new Mac Pro so yeahwhat what's happening with the Mac Proit's the only Intel Mac that Apple stillsells well the initial rumors weresaying that the Mac Pro the redesignwill get the M2 extreme chip which wouldfeature two M2 Ultras or two M1 Ultrasinside but that's no longer the case yousee according to Mark German the M2Extreme has been canceled entirely as itwas just too expensive and too difficultfor Apple to produce and instead thenemac pro will simply come with the M2Ultra just like you know an updatedversion of the Mac Studio which doesmean that a Mac Studio will need to beupdated later as otherwise it willsimply cannibalize the sales of this MacPro by being smaller more portable andalso cheaper not only that but accordingto Mark German Apple will be using theexact same design as the 2019 model andsince this is Apple silicon we wouldhave no upgradable RAM and nothird-party GPU supports either like theonly upgrade ability that we might seewould be in terms of the storage andmaybe the port expansion but that's itand considering that this willessentially be just a Mac Studio but waybigger and way heavier I honestly justdon't think it's it should exist like itmakes zero sense in an apple silicon eraI've been saying this for quite sometime now and a lot of our previousvideos that Apple silicon just defeatsthe idea of an upgradable Mac which iswhat the whole idea of the Mac Pro hasbeen up until now okay number six Applenow has a sixth color for the iPhone 14which is this this yellow color andthey've been doing this for the past fewyears now a mid-cycle update the iPhone13 came in that Alpine drain and the ProModels also got a new color too theiPhone 12 came in purple that wasannounced back in April personally I dothink it looks pretty good it's quitevibrant not quite the same shade as theyellow iMac as that one is actually abit darker and a bit more orange but Iguess that if you're a fan of yellowthen this is a great option and fun factApple did actually have yellow iPhonesbefore they had 11 which also came inyellow although it was a more pastelversion and then the iPhone 5c also camein yellow now alongside the yellowiPhone at number seven Apple alsolaunched a couple of new iPhone casesmore specifically four new siliconecolors yellow Sky absolutely love thisone there is Iris which is essentially apurple and Olive and at number eightApple has now launched a couple of newcolor options for the Apple watch bandsas well more specifically 19 new colorsthe solo Lube now comes in four newcolors three of which match the casesthat we got with the iPhones the sportbad now comes in three new colorsincluding an orange the braided SoulLube now comes in three new colors andthe Hermes bands come in six new colorsI'm glad to see more color options it'sjust a shame that they always continuethe old colors whenever they releasesome new ones they've also launched arose color for the Hermes Air Attackback charm if you're willing to spend300 dollars on that so that's everythingnew in terms of Apple of course there'sa lot of iPhone updates as well andwe'll be making a separate video just onthat so definitely stay tuned to thechannel to see that as soon as it comesout and feel free to tap on the YouTubecards down below for some great deals onsome of Apple's older products I'mDaniel Sims enough Tech and I'll see youguys in the next one cheers[Music]
